Roundtable Discussion on “Germany, India, and Europe”

The Delhi Policy Group organised a roundtable discussion with H.E. Dr. Philip Ackermann, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to India, on “Germany, India, and Europe” on January 15, 2026. Against the backdrop of the visit of German Chancellor Friedrich Merz to India on January 12-13, Ambassador Ackermann shared the German perspective on political, economic, and security developments in Europe, as well as prospects for India-Germany and India-EU relations. An interactive discussion followed his remarks.  The event was conducted under the Chatham House Rule.
