DPG Senior Faculty holds meetings with US government officials and structured dialogues with US Think Tanks in Washington D.C.

The DPG Senior Faculty visited Washington D.C. from June 13-17, 2022 for a series of meetings with US government officials (State Department, White House/NSC, USTR) and structured dialogues with US Think Tanks (CSIS, Hudson Institute, USIP, Marathon Initiative). It also participated in a special DPG-TAG round table discussion on “Future of the US-India Strategic Relationship” hosted by The Asia Group to explore the complex interplay between national security, foreign policy and regional architecture as well as the impact of domestic compulsions across all three domains. All meetings were closed door/under Chatham House rules and conducted in hybrid format, both in person and virtual owing to Covid-19 contingencies.
