DPG-CSIS Workshop on Future Horizons of India-US Defence Cooperation

Against the backdrop of continuing progress in the India-US strategic partnership, the DPG senior faculty participated in a DPG-CSIS workshop on the “Future Horizons of India-US Defence Cooperation” at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington D.C. on June 26, 2024. The workshop was organised jointly by DPG and the India Chair at CSIS as part of their annual interaction on bilateral relations. Senior US government officials, members of the Congressional staff from the SFRC and the HFAC, subject matter experts from US think tanks, and representatives from the US defence industry participated in the closed door event. Views were exchanged on advancing operational cooperation, defence technology and manufacturing cooperation, and cooperation in new domains, including Cyber and Space.
