DPG-Hudson Institute Dialogue

The DPG senior faculty held an interactive dialogue with counterparts at the Hudson Institute in Washington D.C. on June 27, 2024. Participants included representatives from branches of the US government and academia. Views were exchanged on a wide variety of major regional and global issues, the progress of the India-US strategic partnership, and security challenges in the Indo-Pacific. At the conclusion of the discussion, the DPG delegation made presentations on India’s highly successful general election which has showcased the strengthening of India’s vibrant democracy, prospects for future India-US military operational cooperation, and the outlook for India-US cooperation in defence technology and manufacturing. The closed door annual dialogue was organised in conjunction with the Initiative for India and South Asia at the Hudson Institute.
